Giacomo Antonio PERINI (~1707-1739)

131.Giacomo Antonio Perini was born about 1706 or 1707, probably in Someo, Ticino, Switzerland. May 2018He married his second cousin Giovanna Maria Muscio, daughter of the late Giovanni Muscio, on February 10, 1728, in Someo.[Mar 1728] They had at least four children:

1311. Maria Margherita Perini 28 Sep 1732 --  --
1312. Giovanni Giacomo Perini 30 Aug 1734 --  --
1313. Giovanni Antonio Perini 24 Mar 1736 6 Jan 1755 (18)
1314. Giacomo Antonio Perini (Jr.) 30 Sep 1739 2 Oct 1740 (12 mos.)

Giacomo Antonio and Giovanna Maria wed the week following Giacomo Antonio's sister Domenica3. Before their marriage they obtained dispensation for the impediment of the third and fourth degrees of consanguinity (i.e., second cousins, once removed, however, the exact connection of their relationship is not yet known). Witness to their marriage were Giovanni Pietro Lanotti, who later took the title of "Don," and Eustachio Perinoni.[Mar 1728]

Giacomo Antonio Perini died on April 22, 1739, at his home in Someo, and was buried the following day in the cemetery of Someo. He was "about 32 years" old.[Dth 1739]

Giovanna gave birth to their last son five months after Giacomo Antonio's death, but the little boy died two days after his first birthday.[Bap 1739, Dth 1740]

May 2018Giovanna Maria remarried two and a half years later to Antonio Tognazzini, son of Pietro, on February 6, 1742, in Someo. Witnesses to their marriage were Matteo Nicola and Silvestro Righetti.[Mar 1742]

Giovanni Battista PERINI (<1710-1760s)

132.November 2018Giovanni Battista Perini was probably born in Someo, Ticino, Switzerland, before 1710, probably during his father's first marriage to Maria Margherita Andreina. He was likely named for his paternal grandfather. Battista married his third cousin Maria Caterina Ferrari, daughter of Simone Ferrari, on April 2, 1727, in Someo. They had as many as four daughters before Caterina's early death eight years later. Battista afterward married Giovanna Maria Perinoni, daughter of the late Giovanni, on May 16, 1735, and had at least one son:

1321. Maria Margherita Perini 1 Jan 1729 2 Dec 1769 (40)
1322. Maria Caterina Perini 6 Oct 1730 --  --
1323. Giovanna Maria Perini 30 Oct 1732 --  --
1324. Giovanna Maria Perini (1734-1735) 14 Feb 1739 (4)

1324. Giovanni Giacomo Perini 22 Nov 1738 --  --

Before their marriage, Battista and Caterina obtained dispensation for the impediment of the fourth degrees of consanguinity (i.e., third cousins, however, the exact connection of their relationship is not yet known). Witness to their marriage were Carlo Andrea Coppi and Giovanni Pietro Lanotti, who later took the title of "Don" and also later served as a witness to his brother Giacomo Antonio's wedding.[Mar 1727]

The following year, Battista served as a witness to the marriage of his sister Domenica3 and her groom Giovanni Pietro Tognazzini2.[Mar 1728] He also served as witness to four other marriages on the same day: Giacomo Pietro Coppi and Maria Elena Morganti; Giovanni Pietro Coppi and Maria Lucia Tognini; Giovanni Giacomo Giacometti and Maria Maddalena Tognini; and Giovanni Pietro Coppi and Maria Margherita Righetti.[Mar 1728]

Maria Caterina (Ferrari) Perini died at home on April 7, 1735, possibly around the time that daughter Giovanna was born. She was "about 30 years" old and was buried the following day in the cemetery of Someo.[Dth 1735]

December 2018Five weeks after Caterina's death, Battista remarried to Giovanna Maria Perinoni, daughter of the late Giovanni. Before their marriage they obtained dispensation for the impediment of the fourth degree of affinity (i.e., related by marriage rather than by blood, which suggests that Giovanna was a relative of Caterina). Witnesses to the their marriage were Antonio Muscio and Carlo Andrea Coppi.[Mar 1735]

Giovanna's apparent younger sister, Maria Elena Perinoni died at the Perini home on December 19, 1738, at the age of "about 14" years. She was buried the following day in the cemetery of Someo.[Dth 1738]

Maria Domenica (PERINI) TOGNAZZINI3 (~1712-1752)

133.Maria Domenica Perini3 was born about 1711 or 1712, probably in Someo, Ticino, Switzerland. May 2018She married Giovanni Pietro Tognazzini2 on February 3, 1728, in Someo, and had as many as six children:

1331. Maria Domenica Tognazzini (< 1729) (> 1764) (> 20)
1332. Maria Margherita Tognazzini 16 Jan 1732 --  --
1333. Gio. Domenico Tognazzini (Sr.)2 (< 1733) (> 1764) (> 31)
1334. Giacomina Maria Tognazzini 18 Sep 1734 16 Jul 1738 (3)
1335. Giovanna Maria Tognazzini 1 Oct 1739 13 Aug 1741 (22 mos.)
1336. Antonio Maria Tognazzini 2 May 1744 10 Sep 1744 (4 mos.)

Domenica and Pietro married on February 3, 1728, at the parish church in Someo. They were married the same day as four other couples: Giacomo Pietro Coppi and Maria Elena Morganti; Giovanni Pietro Coppi and Maria Lucia Tognini; Giovanni Giacomo Giacometti and Maria Maddalena Tognini; and Giovanni Pietro Coppi and Maria Margherita Righetti. Witnesses to their union were Giovanni Pietro Coppi and Domenica's brother Giovanni Battista Perini. Battista also served as witnesses to all the other couples that day.[Mar 1728]

November 2018Domenica and Pietro chose Giovanni Giacomo Giacometti and Mrs. Giacomina Tognini and godparents for daughter Giacomina.[Bap 1734]

Giovanni Pietro Tognazzini died sometime after the marriage of son Domenico in 1747[Mar 1747] and before the birth of granddaughter Maria Giovanna Tomasini in 1759.[Bap 1760] As such he was likely the one who died unexpectedly on February 4, 1748, at his home in Someo. He was recorded to have been about 38 years old.[Dth 1748]

Maria Domenica (Perini) Tognazzini died on January 11, 1752, at her home in Someo, and was buried the following day in cemetery in Someo. She was reported to be about 40 years old.[Dth 1752]
